Starting out into the motorcycle ownership period

Erotic was the first to own a motor cycle, his dad's Hoda 50 Cub



Then Richy bought a Yamaha FS1E moped, up to this point, mopeds were little more than a motorised bicycle, this was in another league.



My mate at college had a Honda SS50 - which got me started on the idea of motorbikes



My first motorcycle was a 1960's Honda 50



Bigger and better motorcycles

I only kept the Honda for about 6 months before treating myself to a Suzuki SS100



Erotic moved up from the cub with a Honda CB125 which he loved and kept for years



Frodo now joined the motorcycle set with the Honda CB175 which became famouse knicknamed the tractor as it always got him there



There had to be one! Eppy bought a scooter



Teddy had a BSA



My next bike, bought from new, a Yamaha XS250, a very unlucky bike

One of the girls, affectionatly known as Flaps, now had a Honda 400 four

1979 The superbike era

My final bike, the superb Suzuki GS750 - owned for 5 years and put 60,000 miles on her in that time

Bilbo had a Honda CX500 V twin, but used the tractor in winter

Frodo had moved up a notch to the awesome Honda CBX1000



Mutt now owned a GS750 1978 model with wire wheels, he still has the bike but has upgraded the wheels to alloys

Aire Valley MCC run to Masham approx 1979 my bike is the red Suzuki near the back of the group, left side.

Meanwhile Spawny had moved on beyond anything we could aspire to, racing his custom road legal turbocharged Kawasaki Z1000
